Assistant Director of Admissions & Enrollment

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Admissions & Enrollment is a key contributor to recruiting and enrolling students. The individual collaborates with members of the Admissions team, and their marketing colleagues to present the school to prospective students. To be successful the individual must believe in the mission of the school and the value it offers to students.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and enroll students to the school
- Maintain complete and accurate admission records
- Assist with organizing and hosting in-person and virtual events, such as open houses,
- informational sessions, and coffees
- Conduct tours and interviews with prospective students and their families
- Follow through with prospective students/families, from the point of inquiry through enrollment
- Maintain frequent communication with prospective students/families throughout the process
- Manage the student and parent ambassador program
- Complete other assignments as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Enrollment
- Work collaboratively with marketing colleagues to plan and execute campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS
- School admissions experience (preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in education (Independent school experience preferred)
- Mastery of Microsoft Office suite, databases and prospect management systems
- Familiarity with marketing techniques and tools
- Bachelor’s degree

Position Summary
Work closely with the grade 2 classroom teacher to provide instructional support, facilitate learning activities and assess student progress. Responsibilities
Instructional Support:
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and implement engaging and effective instructional activities that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Assist in delivering lessons, providing small group instruction, and facilitating studentcentered learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of students.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Support the teacher in assessing student progress and performance through various formative and summative assessment methods.
- Assist in grading assignments, quizzes, and assessments, providing constructive feedback to students to promote growth and understanding.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and assessment results, and communicate student progress to teachers and parents as needed.
Classroom Management:
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, supported, and encouraged to participate actively in learning.
- Assist with behavior management strategies, reinforcing classroom expectations, and promoting a culture of respect, responsibility, and cooperation among students.
Individualized Support:
- Provide individualized support and assistance to students with diverse learning needs.
- Modify instructional materials and activities to accommodate students' individual learning styles, abilities, and needs, ensuring equitable access to the curriculum for all learners.
Professional Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special area teachers, and other members of the instructional team to support student learning and achievement.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and staff training sessions to enhance teaching practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Extended Day Staff Member

- Position is open to anyone that can consistently work at least 2 days per week
Status: This is a part-time, hourly position
