Botman 4809 delivered a remarkable showing at the FTC John Jay Qualifier on December 6, earning the event’s highest honor, the Inspire Award. Their success secured a spot at the Regional Championships in March.

Meet Upper School faculty member Christopher Conway, who has been inspiring Albany Academy students since 2002. A Dartmouth graduate with advanced studies in Colombia, Mexico, and at Stanford, Chris brings deep global experience to his work in the World Languages Department.

From a beloved brass bell in her grandmother’s playroom to the Middle School science labs at Albany Academy, Mrs. Sarah Loya’s story is one of heart, curiosity, and purpose. She brings learning to life through real-world science experiences and the relationships that make students feel known and supported.

The 2025 Zumba-Thon was a terrific community event that successfully brought together our extended community, including alumnae, alumni, faculty, staff, current families, and students. Everyone came together for an energizing evening in strong support of Phase Two of the AAG Archives Project.

Each year before the Thanksgiving break, the excitement across the Albany Academy grows as lunch nears, as it's time to come together for one of the most beloved moments of the school year, our Thanksgiving feast. More than a meal, it is a moment to pause, connect, and reflect on the season of gratitude. 

Students partnered with Operation At Ease to help provide support dogs for veterans and first responders, reflecting our commitment to service and community.

Before Katianna Hong ’02 became a Michelin-starred trailblazer, James Beard nominee, and Top Chef standout, Albany Academy teachers encouraged her to pursue culinary school. That early confidence helped spark a career defined by bold creativity, discipline, and national acclaim.
