Albany Academy of today is rooted in the strong foundations of The Albany Academy (founded in 1813 as a boys’ school) and Albany Academy for Girls (established in 1814). Together, these institutions have shaped generations of leaders, scholars, and innovators and have continued to do so since unifying as one school.
