Albany Academy Dance: Building Bridges Between School and Professional Stage

Albany Academy had a proud presence in the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company's 35th Anniversary Program at The Egg this past weekend.

Guest artist Barkha Patel, who recently visited Academy to perform for lower school students and lead master classes, choreographed a piece featured in the program. Additionally, seventh graders Kinsey M. '31 and Annabella V. '31 were selected through a competitive audition to perform as part of the company's Egg Kids Project.

Academy dance teacher Ms. Eve Whelchel, who previously performed professionally with the company, was in attendance, along with other members of the Albany Academy community.
