Class of 2026 Achieves 100% Participation in Senior Class Gift Campaign

Congratulations to the Albany Academy Class of 2026 on an extraordinary accomplishment. We are thrilled to share that 100% of the senior class participated in this year’s Class Gift Campaign, making them the first class in Albany Academy history to achieve this milestone prior to commencement.

This achievement reflects not only the generosity of the Class of 2026, but also the strength and unity that have defined this group throughout their time at Academy. Thank you to all of the families who supported the campaign and helped make this moment possible.

The Class of 2026 selected two initiatives for their class gift, one with an immediate impact on student life and another that will support future generations of Academy students. First, a portion of the funds will be used to update lounge spaces in the Upper School, creating welcoming areas for students to gather and connect. Second, the class will establish The Class of 2026 Scholarship Fund, a permanent endowed fund that will one day help deserving Albany Academy students access the same opportunities members of the Class of 2026 have experienced.

Head of Upper School Mrs. Christine Vaughan P'32 shared, “This class is a group of truly outstanding individuals. They are scholars, athletes,

artists, engineers, psychologists, historians, and so much more. But what I love most about this class is the way they have come together as one unified group of young people this year.”

Upper School History Teacher and 12th Grade Dean Mr. Patrick Kauth added, “As the first class I’ve had the pleasure to watch graduate as senior class dean, I can confidently say we’re seeing off a group of tomorrow’s leaders into the world."

As commencement approaches, we celebrate the Class of 2026 not only for what they have achieved, but for the joy, leadership, and community spirit they have brought to Albany Academy.
