At The Albany Academy, our personalized college preparatory program steers students in the right direction when it comes to getting accepted into their dream schools. We provide our upper school students with individualized, comprehensive college counseling that helps them choose the right college. The College Counseling Department also coordinates in-school visits with admission representatives from a wide array of colleges and universities.

Our highly experienced counselors encourage students and families to consider colleges that will be the best fit for them, not just those deemed prestigious by the outside world. With that said, the academic programs at our college preparatory school regularly have students admitted to many of the nation’s top colleges and universities.

The College Counseling Department at The Albany Academy begins working with students and their families in Ninth Grade in order to make the college process stress-free. Our college counselors meet regularly with each student and takes special care in helping them understand their strengths and prioritize goals.
