Before & After Hours Programs

Three New Additions to Academy SummerFamilies have different schedules, and students have different needs at the start and end of their day. To support both, Academy Summer now offers three optional programs outside the regular program day. All three offerings are professionally staffed, welcoming, and designed to be a positive part of your child’s experience. All programs are fee‑based and are available for students in grades K–8.

Before & After Hours Programs

Mindful Morning

7:30–8:50 a.m.
Grades K–8
Fee: $100 weekly
Drop-In Rate: $25

Mindful Morning gives students a calm, structured start to the day. Campers enjoy reading (bring a favorite book or choose from ours), drawing, puzzles, board games, and activity sheets, low‑key choices to help get centered and ready for the day ahead. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, with counselors nearby to support, encourage, and help students connect with one another. At 8:50, counselors escort students directly to their program rooms so they arrive on time and prepared.

Sports Start

7:30–8:50 a.m.
Grades 5–8
Fee: $100 weekly
Drop-In Rate: $25

Sports Start provides an active, upbeat beginning for students who love to move. It helps wake up both body and mind through age‑appropriate movement, teamwork, and skills‑based games. Students rotate through a short warm‑up, simple drills or stations, and games designed to build confidence and set the tone for the day. When weather allows, Sport Start takes place outdoors; during heat, rain, or air‑quality concerns, we use the Silipigno gym.

4 O'Clock Club

Hours: Campers can be picked up anytime between 4 - 5:30 p.m.
Grades K–8
Fee: $115 weekly
Drop-In Rate: $25
This summer, we’re excited to introduce the 4 O’Clock Club—a warm, engaging, and well‑supervised after-camp hours option for families who need care beyond the regular program day. 4 O’Clock Club offers the structure and supervision families value, paired with an end‑of‑day atmosphere that feels relaxed, friendly, and fun. Students may choose from a variety of inviting activities, including:

Bead crafts and bracelet‑making
Puzzles, board games, and card games
Creative stations for drawing and building
Outdoor play (weather‑permitting)
A quiet corner for reading or journaling
A daily snack is provided
