Scholarship Funds

The Endowed Scholarship Program at Albany Academy plays a vital role in fostering an intentionally diverse, inclusive, and equitable learning community.

With nearly 70 named scholarships, this program ensures broad participation by students across our community, with eligibility criteria that may include academic achievement, financial need, leadership in athletics or the arts, gender, or length of enrollment.

These scholarships do more than provide funding; they create meaningful connections between students and donors, strengthened through biannual letters and personal interactions at the Scholar Luncheon or virtual meetings.

Endowed scholarships transform lives. In the 2024–2025 academic year, 90 students thrived thanks to the generosity behind 68 endowed scholarships, each a testament to the power of giving.

Build Connections and Change Lives

Endowed scholarships at Albany Academy not only provide essential financial support but also foster meaningful, lasting relationships between donors and students. Each year, scholars share personal updates with their benefactors, often sparking connections that extend well beyond graduation. Since 2008, the annual Scholar Luncheon has celebrated these bonds, with the 2025 event welcoming 190 attendees.

The scholarship luncheon meant a lot to our family. One of the highlights for me was seeing Holden meet Susan Picotte — they had such a good conversation, and I could tell it really resonated with him.
We’re truly grateful for the opportunities the Academy has opened up for Holden. It’s been such a positive experience, and we appreciate all the support more than we can say. Melony Spock P'25
