June 2025 AAG Council Update

Hello fellow alumnae!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Reunion 2025! I hope you had a wonderful weekend full of nostalgia and reconnection! This spring, the alumnae council has been working on our female-only lounge space fundraiser (to give, click here), hosting another successful Speed Mentoring event (thank you to our alumnae volunteers), and on a personal note, I’m retiring as Alumnae Association President at the end of the month.  I have had the honor of being your President for the last four years. It’s been a tough four years working through some major school transitions, but the strong Academy Girl spirit in each of you has made me love and appreciate AAG even more. I am so thankful for this sisterhood and the everlasting  relationship with faculty who still guide and mentor us.  The unique combination of experiences we all had is something only we understand and cherish. I’d like to give a special congratulations to the Class of 2025 who will be joining our ranks this month! Fun fact: as soon as you cross that stage, you can become a member of the council!

The Executive Board will be working diligently this summer on some special projects to start the next academic year off on a strong foot. I am so looking forward to Amari’s leadership over the next several years! She is a powerhouse of action, positivity, and advocacy.
