Alumni Association Update | January 2026

Dear Albany Academy Alumni and Community,

Happy New Year! I hope you and your families enjoyed a happy and restful holiday season. As we look ahead to 2026, it’s worth reflecting on the strong close to 2025 and the continued momentum within our alumni community.

The Frank O’Brien Alumni Hockey Game once again had a great showing with close to 40 players returning to the event. This year’s game is a testament to the enthusiasm and camaraderie that continue to define this beloved tradition. We were especially grateful to welcome Frank’s mother, Marybeth O’Brien, and her family, who joined us again and added meaning to the evening.

Following the game, the Alumni/Alumnae Holiday Gathering welcomed close to 60 attendees and it was encouraging to see strong representation from young alumni and continued engagement across generations.

As we move into the new year, I encourage you to stay connected—visit campus, attend an event, or come cheer on one of our teams. And please save the date for Reunion Weekend 2026, May 14–16. We hope to see many of you back on campus.
