Introducing Academy Summer! Registration Opens Feb. 24 for Academy Families

A message from Kerri Killian, Director of Summer Programs:

This year marks the official launch of Academy Summer, our newly reimagined K-12 summer experience at Albany Academy.

Over the past several months, I’ve worked thoughtfully to redesign our summer programming to better reflect the depth, structure, and energy that define our school. The result is a more expansive and intentionally designed program with divisionally-aligned age pathways, specialty academic and creative academies, enhanced athletic instruction, leadership opportunities, and balanced days that blend learning, movement, and fun.

I also heard from families who wanted more flexibility. Your feedback directly shaped this summer’s programming. Our programs have been expanded to offer both half-day and full-day options across divisions to give families more choice and clearer scheduling options.

As you explore the newly launched website, you’ll notice a refreshed Academy Summer logo and visual identity. This is more than a design update; it reflects the evolution of our summer programs and their alignment with the excellence and character of Albany Academy.

The full website is now live, and I encourage families to review program descriptions and schedules in advance of registration. There are many new programs and experiences this year! Please  also consider following us on Instagram and Facebook as we grow our online presence.

Priority registration opens for Albany Academy families on February 24 (watch your inbox for that priority registration link), followed by returning summer families on February 26 and public registration on March 1. Several specialty and athletic offerings are expected to fill quickly.
